Seminaria ophthalmologica is a university textbook of ophthalmology and optometry at the Medical Faculty of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, whose teaching base is the Universtiy Eye Clinic of the University Hospital "Sveti Duh".

 

Released in Zagreb in 2014 as the third edition of the publisher Cerovski d.o.o., the textbook is intended for medical students, and was written by employees of the Universtiy Eye Clinic of the University Hospital "Sveti Duh", several of whom are teachers of the Medical Faculty of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek under the guidance of Mladen Busic.

 

The book is a modernly conceived textbook, professionally and scientifically competent, richly illustrated, graphically and printed according to high standards.

 

The third edition of the textbook was supplemented with new details and a prologue in Croatian and Latin. The source of material for the textbook is the rich legacy of the doyen of Croatian ophthalmology, Krešimir Čupak, with the support and vision of Aleksandar Včev, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Osijek.
