Preludium ophthalmologicum is a new and last book by the editors-in-chief, Mirjana Bjeloš, Mladen Bušić, Daliborka Miletić, Biljana Kuzmanović Ejabjer and associates, published in Zagreb in 2020. It is primarily intended for family physicians for the purpose of laying the foundations of ophthalmological knowledge, and we can rightly call it a "problematic" approach to evidence-based medicine. The purpose of this innovative concept is the correct and rapid diagnosis, successful treatment and referral of patients with ophthalmic problems.
