PHARMACOTHERAPIA OPHTHALMOLOGICA

Pharmacotherapia ophthalmologica is the first and only pharmacotherapeutic manual in ophthalmology in the Croatian language, created at the University Eye Clinic of the University Hospital "Sveti Duh", the teaching base of the Medical Faculty of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek.

The manual was published in May 2013 in Zagreb, and its editors-in-chief are Mladen Bušić, Đuro Pavljanić, Ivana Mikačić, Biljana Kuzmanović Elabjer, Damir Bosnar with associates.

This manual is intended not only for ophthalmologists and pharmacologists but also for all employees and professions of primary health care, as it covers all drugs that find their application in ophthalmology, and are registered in the Republic of Croatia, as well as some drugs used in ophthalmic practice that are not registered in the Republic of Croatia. The manual is systematically divided into 13 chapters, according to the groups to which the drugs belong and their effects, and was created as a result of excellent cooperation between the University Eye Clinic and the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology and presents a comprehensive overview of ophthalmological pharmacological treatment, the applicability of which is manifested at all levels of health care.
